Floor Snels won the Van Gogh AiR Prize at her graduation from AKV | St Joost and thus a residency in Van Gogh’s home village. In December 2019 she worked in the guest studio of the Van GoghHuis. The results can be seen at the Van Gogh Gallery until the end of January.
During the working period, Snels studied the social structures of the village of Zundert. She has mainly looked at the changes she has been subjected to and how they relate to the current situation. She has reacted visually to this, her ideas forming around the capitals of the town hall.
