In these residencies time, space and freedom are optimally present. We are an artist-run space with an&nbsp;exceptionallybeautiful space a super studio.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Organisatio<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Factory is located in an old factory hall from the 60s. Once built as a bookbindery. Since 1980 (35 years ago this year) she has been given the position of home of the De Fabriek artists&#8217; initiative.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Program<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Artists are selected by a committee. De Fabriek organizes four work periods per year for artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each work period ends with an opening and a short exhibition for the public. The openings and other public moments serve as a meeting place for artists and the public.
