Jonah Falke spent the entire month of June in the sacristan’s house next to the Van Gogh church in Zundert and worked in the guest studio. The results of his workperiod can be admired in the Van Gogh Gallery until the end of July.
Jonah Falke (1991) studied fine art painting at ArtEZ Enschede. He exhibited at home and abroad and made the album Self Made Woman as front man of the band ‘Villa Zeno’. In 2016, his debut novel ‘Bontebrug’ appeared in 2019, followed by ‘The Most Beautiful Woman in the World’. He has written for Vrij Nederland, See All This, Elle, HP / De Tijd and VPRO Nooit Meer Slapen and is a regular columnist with the Gelderlander and on the Lebowski Blog.
There is an open day on Sunday July 5th from 12:00 to 5:00 PM. On this day the exhibition will be opened in the presence of the artist. The exhibition can then be visited until the end of July 2020.
