XTRA Piffin Duvekot

Fri 27 September – Sun 29 September
Witte Rook

Attention, care and playfulness play the leading role in the work of Piffin Duvekot (Rotterdam 1989). He likes to use material found in thrift stores or with bulky waste. He often repairs or changes these objects by giving them a new/second chance. These aspects are used in his eternal search for identity and himself.

Duvekot graduated from the OCAD University art academy in Toronto Canada in 2012 and has been consciously engaged in developing himself as a person and as an artist. This universal quest has been going on subconsciously for much longer, and will probably never be completed.

Piffin Duvekot had a working period at Witte Rook in the period 16 to 27 September, the results of which can be seen from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 September.

Opening on Friday 27 September 2019 at 7.30 p.m.
Opening hours Sat – Sun from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
